PET FOOD DONATIONS: We are in desperate need of cat food. Daily, we travel to many locations to provide the only meal to hundreds of cats that are abandoned, discarded or born outdoors. Financially this is no easy task. As we strive to assist our community in need, we are preparing for a future pet food bank. Pet food will be provided to seniors and individuals living on fixed incomes who cherish their pet(s) and will allow them to afford food and/or medications for themselves.
Just simply place your order in care of "Rescue a Life" and
notify us via email or schedule a pick-up and we will be happy to pick up your donated pet food item(s).
Daisy is in need of dental care and sample cells taken from several growths. With your assistance, she can live a more comfortable life now that she is safe!

Now, with a steadfast commitment to expanding our impact, we seek financial support to launch an innovative project, the creation of an animal rescue thrift store. This thrift store will not only serve as a sustainable revenue source for our organization but will also directly address the urgent needs in our community. Revenue generated from the thrift store will provide assistance to our community (detailed below), allowing them to keep their beloved companions despite financial constraints. Furthermore, it will offer critical support by assisting with pet food, spaying and neutering, and medical care. We are a Florida Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization, and your charitable donation is tax deductible.
Rescue A Life's establishment of a thrift store will generate revenue that will be used to purchase bulk pet food for the future food bank and provide low cost or free spay/neuter vouchers. It is our desire to assist our local community with keeping their beloved pets. Seniors on fixed incomes, low-income single parent individuals, veterans, survivors of domestic violence and disabled individuals. We also strive to assist local colony caregivers and individual rescuers that are non-exempt status, as we personally know the financial hardship and struggles with animal rescue.
Our aspirations reach even further as we aim to realize a deeply compassionate dream to assist pet owners in their final days, ensuring that they can be with their cherished pet(s) and be assured of their pet's ongoing care even after their passing. This initiative represents an innovative approach to both animal welfare and community support, and it marks a significant evolution in our organization's journey. This store will not merely serve as a retail space but as a symbol of hope, a hub of compassion, and a lifeline for both animals and our community members in need.
Please help us in our journey to reach further and make a great impact. With your tax-deductible donation, we aim to turn these expectations into concrete achievements, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of animals and our community members in Volusia County.
